For anyone who's been waiting — and waiting, and waiting — for the official unveiling of Redbird, rejoice; The wait is over.

Neal Fraser, the well-known bld maestro and chef-about-town, along with his wife Amy Knoll Fraser, teamed up with Bill Chait quite a while back to bring the soaring space to life, but only recently began showing off the interior to folks. Tucked into the gorgeous Vibiana Cathedral, Redbird (a tongue-in-cheek name referring to papal cardinals) looks to have been worth waiting for, though.

Along with Chait, the Frasers teamed up with Julian Cox for the bar program and Diane Pandolfini for the wine. Inside, the space seamlessly transitions from 66 courtyard seats (complete with retractable roof) to lounge seating for 25 and an impressive 24 seats at the bar.

Dinner service could commence as early as next week at Redbird, while anyone who's had an event at Vibiana recently has enjoyed the restaurant's chef Fraser's Vibiana menu, as he's also handling catering services for the space, while Amy Knoll Fraser manages the logistics. Dinner hours run Tuesday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a Sunday 10 a.m. brunch and weekday lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
