Phantom Carriage Brewing Soon in Carson; Celebs Hit Stir Market on Beverly

CARSON— FoodGPS reports that Phantom Carriage, a new brewery specializing in barrel-aged and sour beers, will soon be operating in Carson with plans to distribute across Los Angeles. BEVERLY BLVD— Already Stir Market on Beverly Blvd is becoming quite the magnet for celebrities, with the likes of Diane Keaton, Zac Efron, Giada De Laurentiis, and Giovanni Ribisi hitting the European-style eatery in the past few weeks.

SANTA ANITA— Bill Chait's Sprout group is manning the guest chef series at Santa Anita Park running December 26 and 27 from 12 to 5 p.m. each day. Rory Hermann, Timothy Hollingsworth, Jason Neroni, Josh Drew, David Nayfeld, and Ivan Marquez will be cooking up special dishes for $85 per person, which includes a glass of champagne, access to the Chandelier Room, and other horse-racing amenities.
