What a run it's been for Roy Choi, who started a humble Korean taco truck in 2008, only to ride that wave onto numerous restaurants, multiple trucks across Los Angeles, movie consulting gigCNN show, and even an impending fast food empire. But it comes back to Kogi BBQ, his first creation and first love, which will soft open at Terminal 4 inside a nifty truck-like kiosk. The location itself will be toward the end of the terminal, in the mini food court that includes 8 oz. Burger Bar, Real Food Daily, Cole's, and Campanile.

Choi's been busy tweeting photos of the first prep team, which is assembling the first line of salsas. Flacks haven't confirmed when exactly the truck will start serving, but anyone traveling through Terminal 4 might be one of the lucky few to get a taste of Kogi before flying out of LAX.
