Del Frisco's, which has a slew of restaurants across the country from their Double Eagle steakhouse to the more casual Grilles, has opened their more relaxed concept on South Lake in Pasadena as of this past Saturday. They already have a location in Santa Monica. Sporting an amped up bar & grill type atmosphere, this is the 16th iteration in the U.S., with a modern design from SF Jones and communal tables that reflect more of the culinary zeitgeist.

As for menu items, think wood-oven flatbreads, burgers, ahi tuna tacos, cheesesteak egg rolls and more of the scattered chain restaurant items one will see at places like The Cheesecake Factory or BJ's. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Friday, Saturday from 3 to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Don't miss out on the red velvet waffle during Sunday brunch.
