Highland Park is about to get one landmark restaurant York Blvd: Recess Eatery #2, whose construction has been in progress for nearly a year without too much action. But Spacecraft has released their renderings of their designs, which do a good job of showing off the sweeping domed ceilings, wooden rafters, and a communal cafeteria vibe that should work out great for all the York Blvd hipsters. At the moment, the opening is slated for Spring 2015.
The space also boasts a nice outdoor space with a fireplace to keep things warm when the weather gets cooler, but when Recess Eatery #2 opens it'll probably be just in time for summertime. Chef Sevan Azarian, who also opened Recess in Glendale, will oversee the menu with fresh, organic cooking.
