Blockheads has consistently been one of the most popular sweets destinations on Sawtelle, but they're now bringing their sweetened shaved ice to Pasadena. Officially opened on December 13, the snow cream specialist brings this third location to a Mills Alley behind the main Fair Oaks drag in Old Town.

The menu is the same, with black sesame, green tea, sweet milk, and strawberry as base flavors, plus toppings like mochi, grass jelly, and even seasonal items like cantalope, avocado, and mango. Drizzle on some caramel sauce or condensed milk, and you'll be well on your way to a supreme sugar high.

Open daily at 12:30 p.m., with closure at 10:30 p.m. on weekdays, and until 11 p.m. on weekends. Closed at 10 p.m. on Sundays.
