2015 Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert; More Last Minute NYE Picks

More places to celebrate New Year's Eve for last minute planners.

PALM DESERT— The fifth annual Food + Wine Festival in Palm Desert will kick off next year from March 27 to 29 with live cooking demos from James Beard-recognized chefs, wine, craft beer seminars, plus tastes from over 50 restaurants and 70 wineries. Chefs include Roy Choi, Valerie Gordon, Gale Gand, Ari Taymor, and David LeFevre. It all takes place in the swanky El Paseo district in Palm Desert.

BEVERLY BLVD— Terrine is throwing a four course NYE celebration with such courses as fluke sashimi and sunchoke veloute to roullade of hen and lobster agnolotti. First seating starts at 6 p.m. for $95 and second seating at $125 per person starting at 8:30 p.m. There are also some special add on courses such as smoked pheasant terrine and beef en croute. NORTH GLENDALE— Pot pie fanatics can grab a lobster cremini pot pie from Bountiful Bakery just in time for NYE. Deliveries happen on December 31 in the morning, so email here to reserve a pie.
