Jesse Gomez has been on a tear lately, ever since he debuted his Mercado concept in Santa Monica. Gomez has opened two more Mercados, on West Third and Cahuenga Corridor in Hollywood but he's not done yet. Though he's planned Maradentro for Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock, he took advantage of a prime location in Studio City in Jeffrey Saad's La Ventura.

With an opening slated for April 2015, Maradentro will feature 2,200 square feet designed by Ana Henton, a full bar, and a seafood-centric menu from chef partner Jose Acevedo. Said menu packs everything from seafood soup of the day and peeled sweet shrimp with chile de arbol remoulade to Fideo del Mar (seafood linguine) to tacos de langosta. The full menu is below, with prices ranging $10-24 on most items.

Maradentro's second location in Eagle Rock is scheduled for a Summer 2015 opening.
