Downtown Los Angeles is primed to get a major brand in the world of high-flying club goers and scenesters: Cavalli Club. Brigham Yen reports that the international supper and possibly nightclub is slated for the new luxury hotel entering the massive Fig Central project in South Park, just next to Staples Center.
Dubai-based Pragma Group will be founding this new nightlife concept, which boasts world-class nightlife facilities, as well as internationally recognizable fare like grilled lobster, lamb osso-buco, and rosemary roasted chicken (at least at the Miami location). It's unclear whether this Cavalli Club will also have a full on nightclub like the original Dubai location, but with Downtown's growing scene, plus Staples Center across the street, it seems possible. The Conga Room has persisted for many years as a nightclub right inside L.A. Live.
Will Downtown Los Angeles be able to handle this swanky, high-design supper club? Hit the comments with any thoughts.
