Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

La Boheme, which has lived a mostly ho-hum existence in West Hollywood, is now under the direction of Global Dining and general manager Laurie Shaffer (W Hotel, Roosevelt). Executive chef Martha Esquivel (Border Grill, La Sandia) steps in to revamp the dinner menu and also help launch a new brunch. Why the place never had a brunch menu despite having one of the best patios in West Hollywood is beyond explanation. Finally, happy hour

As for the new fare, the tastes tend to veer toward the typical global bites like Catalan octopus, pork chop with butternut squash puree, potato-leek flatbread, and a trio of homemade pastas. Check out the new menus below, and stop by the new Sunday brunch, which commenced this past week.
