Cigars & Rum at La Descarga; Neal Fraser Out at Strand House Ahead of Redbird Debut

MANHATTAN BEACH— The Strand House has relieved Neal Fraser of his duties as consulting chef and has installed Greg Hozinsky as the new head chef. Neal and wife Amy Fraser are just a few days away from debuting their long work in progress, Redbird, which will open inside the former rectory at the Vibiana Cathedral.

BRENTWOOD— M Cafe is celebrating their one year anniversary with $1 bites from December 13 to 14, including kale peanut salad, soba noodles, scarlet quinoa, and wasabi sweet potato salad (5 oz portions).
