Yesterday Glenoaks Deli, a venerable sandwich shop and grocer in Glendale, burned down when a massive fire overtook the entire strip mall at 10 a.m. The beloved spot was frequented by local office workers and residents in the Glendale hills. New owner Robert Minaeizadeh had recently acquired the business and invested $80,000 in equipment before the blaze destroyed it all. [Glendale News Press]
