Mark Peel at Il Grano; More Cloud Cakes at Le Mervetty

WEST LA— Aside from that grilled cheese pop-up last spring, previous Campanile chef/owner Mark Peel hasn't much been cooking in public. But, on February 21, 22, 28 and March 1 he'll join Sal Marino in the kitchen at Il Grano for a few guest chef meals. Five courses costs $75 and Dish Dish has an idea of plates to expect. [DD]

BEVERLY HILLS— There's a new cloud cake shop named Le Mervetty opening on Friday at 319 N Canon Dr. Urban Daddy is in a tizzy over the girls in tutus pushing French cream-filled meringues just like at Bo Nuage. Flavors are Nutella, chocolate, praline, coffee and speculoos. [Urban Daddy]

WEST HOLLYWOOD— Glazed Donut Bistro is opening a day in advance, tomorrow on Santa Moncia Boulevard in place of the previous Bite cafe. Also, the relocated Tasty Donuts & Cafe is launching in the strip mall across from Connie & Ted's on Santa Monica Boulevard. [WEHOville]

ELYSIAN VALLEY— BTW, Good Eggs, the online market that delivers artisan foods to one's home, isn't opening a brick and mortar. Rather, the old Hostess Brands bakery space they share with Modernica will just be used as a distribution hub. [EaterWire]
