Collectors Weekly pens a lengthy ode to Clifton's Cafeteria Downtown, the ancient cafeteria purchased several years back by Andrew Meieran with the intent to rehabilitate and relaunch. Meieran describes his redo of the landmark Braodway restaurant as an "urban fantasy night-life spot and restaurant," which will offer "contemporized version of classic cafeteria fare" and other dishes influenced by the ethnic communities that define Los Angeles.
