John and Chris Bicos, sons of The Original Tops founder Steven Bicos and also the guys who revamped Gus's BBQ in South Pasadena, are in escrow to snag Magnolia Lounge at 492 S Lake Ave., also in Pasadena. No word on their specific plans but if the deal comes to fruition they will slightly modify the New American restaurant and cocktail lounge's name to Magnolia House. [EaterWire]
