The local Philly cheesesteak scene gets a major boost this week from Whiz, a new sandwich shop from Jimmy Han and Wes Lieberher, who previously put together the craft beer and menu of fried delights at Beer Belly. Opened February 15, the store sits around the corner from the stylish beer bar in a former barber shop sporting the signature cheesesteak loaded with none other than cheese whiz. Also consider burgers, cold hoagies, buffalo hot wings, and fries for a handy take-out spot that will be sure to warm the heart of any Philadelphian. Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
