It's with a heavy heart that Corinne Trowbridge announces the end of California Crisp's long established Downtown Ketchum YMCA branch:
After 21 fantastic years as the owner of California Crisp on Bunker Hill in Downtown Los Angeles I am closing. My menu has been house roasted meats, unique salads, artesian sandwiches and a fantastic smoothie bar with "the Kale" smoothie the stuff legends are made of. We have a beautiful patio with a view to die for. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional restaurant group who is interested in this type of menu. The landlords are the YMCA and will only consider a well financed, business plan, and healthy based operator.Trowbridge is helping her landlord vet potential new businesses and she adds that the YMCA wants a similar such healthy cafe concept. Potential new operators will have the option to purchase California Crisp's fixtures and equipment. Interested parties can reach Trowbridge here. [EaterWire]
