Berlin Currywurst Settling in to Grand Central Market

The ongoing gentrification of Downtown's now popular Grand Central Market continues with local sausage slinger Berlin Currywurst, the German street food concept launched by Hardeep and Lena Manak in Silver Lake three years ago. Straying not too far from ground zero, they launched a sophomore effort with a beer garden the following year in Hollywood, and also operate a cart at the Santa Monica Pier. Next up, the Manaks score a space at Grand Central Market with the intent to open in the next three to four weeks. Expect pretty much the same wurst menu plus the addition of breakfast items.
