Kyle Schutte, the New Robbie Richter at Roadhouse LA

Roadhouse LA, the hotly anticipated fusion barbecue restaurant from Adam Fleischman (Umami) and New York barbecue master Robbie Richter (Hill Country, Fatty 'Cue), has lost one chef and gained another. As of last week, and less than a month since launch, Richter has moved on and chef Kyle Schutte of The Corner Door has stepped in.

A source close to Richter says the chef decamped last Monday because "other than nachos, fries and burgers not much of his his unique BBQ items sold" and he believes "the concept was a mistake for the location and clientele."
