Bid aloha to celebrated Hawaiian fusion inventor Roy Yamaguchi's Los Angeles branch of Roy's, serving the good people of Downtown for close to a decade. As of Sunday the restaurant is down for good, and an employee explains the shutter simply as a "business decision." The good news is that those in need of misoyaki butterfish or a chocolate soufflé can still frequent one of the Roy's outlets in Pasadena, Newport Beach, Anaheim, or Woodland Hills. [EaterWire]
