If Bleu Sage in Silver Lake were to actually open this year, it would had been a labor of love five years in the making. Alas, the restaurant, formerly Backdoor Bakery on Silver Lake Ave., has been stuck in the mud with a partially designed space by Ilan Dei Studio. But, finally, a new tenant is up to bat. According to an ABC license, and as noted by The Eastsider, reputed Sotto chef Zach Pollack is moving in with Alimento, presumably an Italian eatery of sorts. More to come.
