Claudio Blotta, wife Adria Tennor and executive chef Don Dickman, all of Barbrix, divulged plans not long ago to open an unnamed affordable Italian restaurant this spring where Atwater Village's Acapulco restaurant previously served. And although the eatery has been under construction for the last two months, not much has changed, as seen over right. While the place is still totally gutted, partners did file for a full 47 liquor license under the licensee "Tapis Foods Inc." [EaterWire]
