Littlefork's Pre-Theatre, Reichl on Night+Market, More

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

HOLLYWOOD— Starting today, littlefork is offering a three course, pre-theatre prix fixe from 5-7 p.m. that has items like chicken liver mouse, bluefish pate on crostini, or steak tartare with bacon hollandaise (who said the bacon craze was over?) for $28 per person. [EaterWire]

SUNSET STRIP—Here's Ruth Reichl's take on the meal she had with Jonathan Gold last night at Night+Market (Gold seems to like taking guests to Yenbamroong's restaurant). Writes Reichl: "If you're an adventurous eater, there are flavors here that will really stretch your taste boundaries." [Ruth Reichl]

DOWNTOWN— Did you know that an order of uni is a mere $37 for an entire box in Little Tokyo's Sushi Gen? Food Republic goes through the sixteen-piece order of sea urchin roe, which also includes some sashimi, chopped tuna, and tamago. [Food Republic]
