Bruce Kalman Opening Union in Pasadena Next Month

Chef Bruce Kalman of Urbano Pizza Bar and The Churchill is working on a 100% seasonal new eatery influenced by Northern Italy to open for dinner during the first week of March. He's taking over an empty 2,100 square foot, 50-seat space next to Pop Champagne Bar on E. Union Street in Old Town Pasadena, which has a license to serve beer and wine. While he doesn't want to give too much away just yet, Kalman says that he will definitely offer charcuterie, porchetta, an assortment of pastas, all made in-house.
