As the the season finale of Top Chef Season 11 looms tonight, Andy Greenwald of Grantland gives an interesting take on the lofty reality show's mid-life crisis. Offering modest praise for Roy Choi's guest judging early on, Greenwald comments on the show's evolution from innovator to spin-off king: "Can Top Chef simmer forever without steaming away into nothing?
