800 Degrees Snags Old Cafe Wa s Haunt in Hollywood

800 Degrees has had its eye on a pizzeria in Hollywood for some time now, and per ABC window signage, chef Anthony Carron and Umami Restaurant Group are landing the brand's custom fast-fired Neapolitan pies in the former Cafe Wa s and short-lived Wolfslair space on Vine Street right by The Hungry Cat. Should be interesting to see how designers re-imagine the loungey two-floor restaurant and bar. And following in the steps of the recently launched Santa Monica branch and the forthcoming Pasadena eatery, this here Hollywood pizzeria comes equipped with a full liquor license, too.
