Oscar Hermosillo Expands with Cerveteca Boardwalk

New, 1 comment

After a successful run on Rose Avenue, Oscar Hermosillo, proprietor of Venice Beach Wines and the more recent Oscar's Cerveteca, has soft launched a spinoff Cerveteca on the Venice Boardwalk. Situated near Windward, the walk-up counter is selling a Mexican menu similar to Oscar's on Rose, though pared down to just tacos, tortas and some specials. For more discerning diners, Cerveteca will be a welcome alternative to the Boardwalk's supply of tepid pizza and fries. Although at $17 for two tacos and a bottle of water, as noted by Yo! Venice!, pedestrians may stick to cheap eats. Hours of operation run 10 a.m. "till sunset."
