Much delayed San Diego export BO-beau kitchen + bar is finally shacking up in Long Beach this spring with BO-beau kitchen + rooftap. Katherine Humphus, current executive chef at the original BO-beau in Ocean Beach, will run the Long Beach kitchen as well, plating a similar such French-Cali bill of fare.

Spacecraft is still building out the 13,722 square foot space, previously Smooth's Sports Grille, which is divided into two floors. As mentioned, the ground level will house an industrial-style dining room, a 40-person bar/lounge, and a custom wood-burning stove to fire seasonal flatbreads. Meanwhile, the top floor, a 2,800 square foot "rooftap," will serve as a beer garden with 50 rotating taps mostly focused on California microbrews and over 100 types of vodka. Expect a more casual beer-friendly food menu, too.
