The annual public lecture series for UCLA's Science and Food has been announced, featuring Dave Arnold (Booker & Dax), Wylie Dufresne (WD-50), Lena Kwak, Peter Meehan (Lucky Peach) and Morihiro Onodera across three lectures in late Spring. April 23 hosts The Science of Sushi, May 14 hosts "How We Taste" with Dufresne and Meehan, along with Dr. Dana Small, while June 1 will end the series with Harnessing Creativity (and the Science of Pie) with Arnold and Kwak.

Tickets are on sale for $25 starting March 24 at 10 a.m. from the UCLA Central Ticket Office. $5 student tickets are also available. Like previous years, lecturers will generally have a visual presentation and possibly even taste samples. [EaterWire]
