A pretty unlikely location for a hookah bar and cafe, Le Cafe du Grand Oiseau opened a few days ago in the middle of a former apartment complex on the corner of Sawtelle and National serving bites, drinks, and hookah. Hours run until 11 a.m. on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends. The Westside seems to have a lot of these odd little pockets of low-key nightlife. [EaterWire]
