Dog Haus Expansion Plans; TOMS Roasting Co. En Route

AROUND TOWN— Some of the new locations for gourmet sausage seller Dog Haus are Canoga Park (6501 Topanga Canyon), West Covina (2678 East Garvey Avenue South), Burbank (3817 West Olive Avenue), Santa Ana (Westfield Mall), and Rancho Cucamonga (6401 Haven Avenue). [EaterWire]

AROUND TOWN—Do good shoe company TOMS is getting in on the coffee game. Founder Blake Mycoskie is next dipping his toes into the coffee scene with TOMS Roasting Co. The catchphrase here is "Coffee for you, water for all" and for every cup of coffee sold, someone in Rwanda, Malawai, Guatemala, Honduras, or Peru (where TOMS sources its beans) will get water for a day. For every bag of coffee sold, someone scores clean water for one week. [Fortune]

DOWNTOWN— EightyTwo, the delayed arcade bar fated for the Arts District from partners Scott Davids and Noah Sutcliffe, is finally, for real, going to debut to the public on March 20. Games should all be in place by tomorrow and a friends and family test run will take place early next week. [EaterWire]

PALM SPRINGS— Food + Wine Festival Palm Desert is coming back to the desert March 21-23 and a bunch of LA chefs are onboard. See here the full lineup with dinners prepared by David LeFevre (MB Post), Brooke Williamson (The Tripel), Roy Choi (Kogi), Valerie Gordon (Valerie Confections) and more. [EaterWire]
