Bourbon Steak Now Showing Its Face in Glendale

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

The plywood's off at Michael Mina's upcoming Bourbon Steak in Glendale. According to management, Mina's meat emporium is scheduled to debut on March 26. The highly anticipated steakhouse is just one more feather in the cap for Rick Caruso's growing lineup of compelling food options at the Americana at Brand, especially after the opening of Din Tai Fung just a few months ago.

The growing lines at Din Tai Fung will now have the chance to nosh on some duck fat fries and a cocktail or two before diving into some dumplings, if they so choose. This is San Francisco chef Michael Mina's first foray back in L.A. after a relatively short-lived operation at XIV.
