C+M stands for Coffee + Milk and is the name of Patina Group founder Joachim Splichal's innovative, Intelligentisa-fueled coffee bar and cafe at LACMA. Meanwhile, Market Cafe is his string of snacky lunch and breakfast stores that sell many grab and go foods, but also have a hot entree walk-up counter, in addition to a customizable salad bar. Anyway, both those Patina concepts are headed to Westwood at the Westwood Gateway building located right off the 405, slated to debut mid-March. Expect a slew of better quality breakfast and lunch workday fare from seasonally-flavored C+M pop tarts and Intelligentsia coffee to salads and higher quality farmers market sandwiches. Hours of operation will run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
