BEVERLY HILLS— On April 5 at 1 p.m. catch chef Roy Choi and his Kogi taco truck at Williams-Sonoma in Beverly Hills. For $45 guests score a taco lunch off the truck, a signed copy of Choi's L.A. Son, and a demo/tasting of his ghetto doughnuts. [EaterWire]

LONG BEACH— The Big Bite Bacon Fest is returning to The San Diego County Fair on July 5 and then will mark its debut on August 2 at The Queen Mary. Think bacon cook-offs, entertainment, craft beer, pretty much what one would expect from a fair but entirely bacon-themed. Tickets for San Diego are on sale now and include entry to the San Diego County Fair, but tickets for the Queen Mary go on sale April 11. [EaterWire]
