Chinese Cuisine Fest Features SGV Restos March 7-16

LA's Restaurant Week, dineLA, tends to focus on non-ethnic and trendy restaurants that can afford to participate and constrain their menus to the multi-course system. From March 7-16, 13 eateries in Chinese-cuisine heavy San Gabriel Valley will participate in their own version of Restaurant Week called Chinese Cuisine Festival, ranging from Chengdu Taste and Little Sheep Hot Pot to Duck House and Beijing Restaurant. Formed by ICON Union, a Chinese student marketing platform, places will offer smaller portions and tasting menu options that will spread across regional specialties. Check out the full list of participants here and schlep over to SGV to get a real taste of Chinese cuisine in L.A. [EaterWire]
