Fairfax gem The Golden State is already five years old. On March 5, partners Jason Bernstein and James Starr will fête the restaurant's birthday from 3 to 7 p.m. by serving their popular burger with a side of fries for $5. Tai Kim of Scoops will also make a custom ice cream flavor for the day. But what the guys are especially excited about is tapping a bunch of rare beers they've collected and aged over the last few years. On March 5 they'll tap 2011 Bruery Sour in the Rye and 2011 Lost Abbey Angel's Share, and later in the month will break into kegs like Deschutes Jubel 2010 and The Bruery's Sour in the Rye with Cape Cod Beach Plums.
