Thai Town Wire

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Thai Town keeps improving, with Hoy Ka moving to better digs and now Pa Ord starting a mini empire by taking over the former Ganda space, reports Midtown Lunch. Then throw in the newish Lacha Somtum right next to Harvard & Stone, which features a slew of green papaya salads. Fans of the crispy catfish at Ganda don't have to worry, it's still on the steam table along with the rest of Pa Ord's great noodle and stir-fry selection. [Midtown Lunch]
