Tartine, not to be confused with the famed San Francisco bakery and cafe, is a new eatery coming to the PacMutual building, joining forthcoming tenants Tender Greens, Le Pain Quotidien and Earth Bar. Frederic Soulies is behind the boulangerie, pâtisserie, and café, and he's looking to open toward the end of the summer with about 3,700 square feet and a 600 foot patio. Architect Crystal Wong will incorporate reclaimed wood, natural clay bricks and Carrara marble for a "warm and welcoming" feel. [Brigham Yen]
