Arts District denizens will have to wait a few more weeks until the debut of Zinc Cafe & Market, an expansive new vegetarian eatery hitting the heart of the Arts District some time in May, according to owner John Secretan. Originally scheduled for March, Secretan pushed the launch because of construction delays, which actually isn't much of a surprise considering the raw state of affairs back in mid-February. Things to look forward to: a wood-burning oven, grab-and-go goods all day long, coffee, and more. Sadly though, no more colorful plywood murals done by local street artists.
