Einat Admony, chef of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors at Balaboosta, Bar Bolonat, and Taïm in New York City, is popping up in LA on May 27, 28, 29, 31 at Mauro's Café within Fred Segal in West Hollywood. Chef Admony is considering a Los Angeles restaurant and will test out elevated versions of dishes served at Balaboosta. Think plates like Shrimp Kataïf with tobiko sauce and Adobo-Rubbed Skirt Steak with charred tomato, spring onions, cherry tomato vinaigrette. The three course prix fixe runs $90 a head with an option wine pairing. [EaterWire]
