Hey, check out Officine BRERA, the new Northern Italian restaurant in the Arts District from Matteo Ferdinandi and chef Angelo Aurian of The Factory Kitchen. Look familiar? It's taking that rustically beautiful factory warehouse space that almost became Walter Manzke's Republic before the La Brea switcheroo. Christopher Mercier of (FER) Studio will run the design and construction is set to commence in August. Officine BRERA is still slated to debut in March 2015. Until then, The Factory Kitchen has handkerchief pasta and focaccia di Recco at the ready.
