Since day one, Milo & Olive, the neighborhood bakery, pizzeria, and seasonal restaurant from Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan (Rustic Canyon, Huckleberry, Sweet Rose Creamery) has been packed. That's partly because of the restaurant's high quality farmers market fare and also partly due to the square footage of the place, or, rather, lack thereof. During peak hours customers line up in the entryway and sometimes spill out to the street to score a seat at the restaurant's dining bar or at one of the communal tables. But, super good news today.
This has been a long time coming but Loeb/Nathan have finally taken over the adjacent clothing store as of this month and will grow Milo into that space. The plan is to double seating (and add additional table options other than the current bar/communals), build another pizza oven, and expand chef Erin Eastland's menu overall. Milo 2.0 should be ready by early October.
