Escala, the new Colombian gastropub from Seoul Sausage chef Chris Oh, already has four and a half stars on Yelp and 14 reviews. That's because the restaurant, formerly Bohemian, is presently soft serving, but starting April 24 Oh's crispy pork skin guacamole and pork belly tamales will be for sale to the general public. So far the menu counts a handful of smaller plates priced under $12 and two larger format preps of ribeye and a whole fried striped bass for $26 and $24, respectively. But, Oh says additional dishes will be added soon. Other vital facts include a full bar that's open daily until 2 a.m. Escala commences service at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at noon on Sunday.
