The Oinkster, Cheffy Fast Food Done Right in Hollywood

The Oinkster, chef Andre Guerrero's high quality fast food joint serving the good people of Eagle Rock since 2006, shacks up in Hollywood on April 22. It's about the same size as the original at 3,000 square feet, but here design was helmed by the crafty Design, Bitches (Superba Snack Bar). Clean and modern with many communal tables, The Bitches went for a contemporary take on the classic American burger joint. There's seating for about 110 inside and out on the dog-friendly patio.

Many of The Oinkster's popular burgers and sandwiches from Eagle Rock are for sale in Hollywood, but new eats range from a pork adobo burger to a Thanksgiving turkey burger to a sandwich with buttermilk fried chicken and buffalo sauce. What you're getting here is cheffy fast food, the familiar burgers and such but made with better ingredients. Sort of like what Danny Myers did with Shake Shack. Hours of operation run Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
