The former Nishimura has been scrubbed away into Zinque, the West Hollywood outlet of Venice's Euro-style cafe and wine bar opening on April 28. Founded by Emmanuel Dossetti, the eatery is a little more ambitious in both design and offerings, with a full menu of flatbreads, tartines, oysters, and cheeses to go along with wines, beer, La Colombe Coffee and Mariage Frères teas.

The ambiance is certainly reminiscent of the Abbot Kinney original: open, airy, and angular, with bright tiling and smooth wooden furniture. Planted across from the Pacific Design Center, it's sure to be an oasis for creative types working and living in the area. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on weekdays, and 2 a.m. on weekends.
