The days might be numbered for cute Venice wine shop, Elvino. Owner Bart Miali opened the boutique wine store and tasting room about five and a half years ago, and a source says that he will shutter Elvino at some point this year with the plan to reopen as a wine bar and small plates restaurant. Which will require new permitting since Elvino is only licensed to sell booze at the moment. Additional intel welcome in the comments. [EaterWire]
