Good news for Orange County dwellers. Mario del Pero's locally beloved sandwich chainlet Mendocino Farms will open its first ever OC outlet at 450 E. 17th Street in Costa Mesa this coming May. Eddie Bitton of Bitton Design Group will head aesthetics and craft a similar look to other locations with turf-covered benches, brasserie chalk art and a 25-foot tall tree through the restaurant's ceiling.
