Last night, the Eataly team announced plans for expansion in New York (two more mega stores to come), plus locations next headed to Washington, DC, Philly, and Los Angeles.
Rumors have swirled for years now about Eataly's growth to Los Angeles and possible homes for the epic market and its set of restaurants devoted to Italian product. In fact, just recently, an employee that works within the Pacific Design Center told Eater that he was informed within the last month that Eataly is slated to open in the near vicinity. Eater head such a rumor about two years ago, but supposedly that deal didn't work out and the Eataly crew began to search elsewhere. Is the PDC an appropriate locale for Eataly? Hit the comments.
