Look familiar? Dustin Lancaster and Tyler Bell, the guys behind L&E Oyster Bar in Silver Lake plus chef Spencer Bezaire, also of L&E, are behind the El Conquistador reboot, now dubbed El Condor. They've scrubbed and redressed the 40-year-old Silver Lake staple into a less divey, more inviting Mexican number still serving reasonably priced tacos and enchiladas and such, but executed as of today at 4 p.m. with chef Bezaire's deft touch.

Ellen Rehak, formerly of L&E and before that Largo, worked out El Condor's tequila and mescal-focused bar list, which focuses on smaller producers. Drop by for daily happy hour from 4-6 p.m, dinner from 6-11 p.m., and late night dining until 1 a.m.
