Local 1205, the ambitious juice bar, oyster bar, and seafood restaurant, is now completely closed down after it was put onto the market for a cool $950K two weeks ago. The original rumor that Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield were filling it in with a West Coast version of the Spotted Pig probably helped precipitate its downfall, though the rather confused concept never managed to gain a solid following. Though Abbot Kinney is some of the most prime real estate in Venice, Local 1205 only lived for three and a half years.
